The PAC Network launches an ambitious program of agricultural and rural training sessions for the next quarter.


  • The PAC Network has organized numerous meetings and workshops on various topics of interest to the agricultural and rural sectors during the last quarter of the year.
  • The objective of these activities is to offer theoretical and practical training in the agricultural field, as well as to promote meetings and spaces that generate contacts and networks in rural areas.

The PAC Network , part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food ( MAPA ), is launching a comprehensive program of training and outreach activities for the final quarter of the year, with the aim of continuing to promote knowledge, innovation, and connections between the various stakeholders in the agricultural and rural sectors.

Through these workshops, the aim is to promote technical knowledge, applied innovation, and networking, directly contributing to the dissemination and enhancement of the objectives of the Spanish PEPAC . The activities are designed to connect the region with European policies, promote sustainable practices, and strengthen the role of agro-rural professionals in the transition toward a more resilient, fair, and sustainable model.

Regenerative agriculture, eco-regimes, rural women, innovation and extensive livestock farming

These five themes will primarily occupy the PAC Network's activities in the coming months, as follows:

  1. Regenerative agriculture workshop

A 17-hour mixed-use course taught by the Regenerative Agriculture Association , featuring online theoretical sessions and practical visits to farms that use these techniques.

📍 Valladolid (Castile and León) / Tarragona (Catalonia) / Cáceres (Extremadura)

👥 Target audience: Farmers, ranchers, students of agricultural schools, technical staff and advisors

🔗 Registration open until October 6th at 12:00 p.m.

  1. Territorial conferences on ecoregimes

A series of workshops with field visits and participation from industry leaders to promote the implementation of eco-regimes tailored to each region.

📅 October 2, 8, 29, and 30

📍 Burgos (Castile and León), Santander   (Cantabria), Seville   (Andalusia), Valencia   (Valencian Community)

👥 Target audience: Producers, technicians, researchers

  1. Women's leadership in the agricultural sector

A 25-hour course taught by CEDER Monegros, with modules on leadership, communication, negotiation, and active participation in decision-making bodies of agricultural sector entities.

📅 September 23, 30, and October 7, 14 (online) + October 21 (in person in Madrid)

📍 Gran Via de San Francisco (MAP), Madrid

👥 Target audience: Female farmers and ranchers interested in participating in decision-making bodies in the sector

  1. Exchange of experiences between Operational Groups

The PAC Network has designed a Cycle of Experience Exchange among Operational Groups , to be held between May and October 2025, nationwide and covering various work themes. The cycle, which is free and in-person, includes cross-country visits for on-site knowledge exchange and peer learning among Operational Group (OG) members.

👥 Target audience: Operational groups, agri-food sector entities, research centers, cooperatives, rural businesses, and agricultural sector professionals.

  • There will be another innovation conference later this year on "By-product Recovery," the date and location of which have yet to be determined.

  1. PRESURA 2025 - Roundtable on extensive livestock farming: “ Living from the countryside without exhausting it: Experiences from extensive livestock farming”

The PAC Network collaborates with the National Fair for the Repopulation of Rural Spain "Presura 25"   in the organization of a roundtable discussion for women and men running extensive livestock farms entitled "Living from the Countryside Without Exhausting It: Experiences from Extensive Livestock Farming": led by an expert in the field, to share experiences, challenges, and lessons learned in this field. The roundtable will feature several success stories from extensive livestock farmers. The program can be found at the following link .

The PAC Network will also have its own booth during the fair to provide information about its activities and resources.

📍 Saint Martin of King Aurelius (Oviedo)

👥 Target audience: Extensive livestock farmers, sector professionals, and the general public interested in rural areas.

  1. Exchange of experiences of good environmental practices in rural areas

This meeting arises from the collaborative drive of the protagonists of the Report on good environmental practices, published by the PAC Network,   with the aim of:

  • Continuing the exchange of knowledge
  • Strengthen cooperation networks
  • Promote the replicability of innovative initiatives in rural areas

📍 La Junquera Estate (Caravaca de la Cruz, Murcia)

👥 Target audience: Participants in the Environmental Best Practices Report, organizations, and individuals interested in rural sustainability.

The PAC Network will actively participate in the “ Expo SagrisAgriculture and Livestock Exhibition through a day.
