The CAP Network is preparing its agenda of activities for the second half of the year, which will include workshops on agricultural innovation, agri-food communication, and rural entrepreneurship.
The CAP Network is preparing its agenda of activities for the second half of the year, which will include workshops on agricultural innovation, agri-food communication, and rural entrepreneurship.
The agenda will combine face-to-face and virtual meetings, new educational content, and participation in events of the European CAP Network.
Final registration dates, programs, and publications will be updated periodically in the events calendar on the PAC Network website.
The CAP Network is working on a new program of conferences and meetings that will take place during the second half of the year with the aim of continuing to promote the exchange of knowledge, innovation and the creation of networks among the actors and agents of the agricultural sector and the rural environment.
This new agenda will include technical, outreach, and participatory activities focused on various topics of interest to the agricultural and rural sectors. In addition to the planned workshops and meetings, the CAP Network will publish new informational materials and participate in various European events to foster knowledge exchange and cooperation with other national CAP networks.
CAP Network activities after the summer
The activities planned for the last four months of 2026 are as follows, ordered according to the objectives of the CAP Strategic Plan ( PEPAC ) :
Economic Objective
PAC Network Workshop “Good practices associated with BT maize cultivation”

The activity will focus on best practices associated with Bt maize cultivation , with particular attention to "MON 810" maize and its role in controlling the corn borer pest. The workshop will cover aspects related to integrated pest management, resistance prevention, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the environmental implications of this crop.
Participation in the Project Fair of the 2026 Annual European Funds Event

The CAP Network will participate in the Project Fair at the 2026 Annual European Funds Event , organized by the Ministry of Finance , with its own stand at the Project Fair to be held on November 12. This event is the main national forum dedicated to the exchange of best practices, disseminating the impact of European funds, and bringing EU policies closer to the public. The CAP Network will showcase its work in promoting the opportunities offered by European funds to boost the sustainability of the agricultural sector and rural areas through workshops, publications, informational materials, and other communication and knowledge transfer initiatives.

The CAP Network will organize a conference focused on the role of women in the field of economic diversification in agroecological farms.
PRESSURE 2026

The CAP Network will once again participate in the National Fair for the Repopulation of Rural Spain, PRESURA 2026 , by setting up its own stand in the exhibition area and organizing a round table discussion focused on good practices of agricultural innovation led by rural women, which will be held in the first session of the afternoon from 3:30 to 4:20 pm .

The event will introduce the new “ BDporc ” platform and its main features, as well as the opportunities it offers for improving data analysis and decision-making in the swine sector. Participants will also share experiences and needs from the sector to continue moving towards more efficient, competitive, and sustainable production.
New educational content
In addition to in-person and virtual events, the CAP Network will publish new informational materials in the coming months to share knowledge and disseminate initiatives of interest to the agricultural sector and rural areas. These include:
A document on Operational Groups related to climate change mitigation and adaptation .
A publication dedicated to new trends in consumption habits and the Mediterranean diet , in which different initiatives and strategies related to food will be analyzed.
A testimonial video about generational change in the agricultural sector , focusing on inspiring experiences of young people joining the countryside.
A dossier on innovative elements to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of forestry operations .
The CAP Network will also be present in Europe
The CAP Network will continue to strengthen its collaboration with the European CAP Network and with national networks in other Member States through its participation in various European meetings planned for the coming months. These include:
The 8th meeting of the CAP national networks , which will be held on October 6 and 7 in Ireland.
The workshop on the participation of rural agents in the development of the National and Regional Partnership Plan (NRPP) , scheduled for October 8, will also be held in Ireland.
The ARIA Awards (Agricultural and Rural Inspiration Awards) ceremony will take place in December in Brussels.
The Assembly of the European CAP Network , also scheduled for December in Brussels.
