Objectives of the day

The objective of the day is To familiarize OPAs and the primary sector with the legislation on origin labeling, and to this end, it is intended to know:

• Origin labeling rules: what can and can't be done.
• Products that already have mandatory origin labeling.
• Possibility of indicating the origin of all products, on a voluntary basis: Mention “Origin Spain”.
• Success stories or examples.

The event is organized by the Directorate General for Food of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food through the Subdirectorate General for Food Quality and Sustainability, within the framework of the CAP Network , coordinated by the Subdirectorate General for Agricultural Policy Planning.

Target audience

The event is aimed at various takeover bids and operators in the primary sector.
