From the PAC Network , belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food , we invite you to the " Conference on good practices of sustainable mowing ecoregime and biodiversity islands in wet pastures applicable to ecoregimes in Cantabria " which will be held in person at the Agricultural Research and Training Center (CIFA) in Muriedas (Cantabria) on October 8, 2025.
This event is part of the CAP Network's Territorial Conference Cycle for the Promotion of Ecoregimes , which will take place between May and October 2025. The aim of this cycle is to promote and highlight good practices linked to the ecoregimes that best suit each territory.
The event is aimed at agricultural sector entities, farmers, ranchers, agricultural professionals, and/or any individual or organization interested in implementing eco-regimes.
Some of the content that can be enjoyed during the event will be:
- Presentation of technical aspects and environmental benefits, as well as the conditions and support associated with the practice of sustainable mowing ecoregime and biodiversity islands in wetlands of Cantabria.
- Exchange of experiences among livestock farmers on the implementation of practices associated with the sustainable mowing eco-regime and biodiversity islands in wet pastures .
- Field visit to a local farm.
