With the CAP reform 2023-2027, Spain has implemented the Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plan ( CASP ) 2023-2027, a single strategy that establishes all the measures intended to achieve the CAP objectives and the ambition of the European Green Deal . Therefore, both national and regional measures are included.

In some cases, the PEPAC 2023-2027 interventions coexist with rural development policy measures from the previous period: the National Rural Development Program (PNDR) and the regional Rural Development Programs (PDR) 2014-2022, whose implementation limits have been extended until 2025.

The following search engine allows you to consult the calls for grants published under both the PEPAC 2023-2027 and the RDP 2014-2022. Specifically:

• the calls for aid from the National Rural Development Programme (PNDR) or the Rural Development Programmes (PDR) 2014-2022, through the EAFRD, which continue to be called.
• Calls for applications and information on grants published under the PEPAC 2023-2027 program, both from the EAGF and EAFRD funds. Specifically:
  • the aid included in the single application, in the form of direct aid (direct income aid - basic, complementary and for young people -, eco-regimes and associated direct payments - agricultural, livestock and cotton -), as well as interventions charged to the EAFRD assimilated to the Integrated Management and Control System - IACS - (those based on the size of the surface area or the number of declared animals) such as environmental commitments, areas with natural or specific limitations and those related to the installation of young farmers, which may be left out of the single application if the regional management authority so decides in the scope of its territory.
  • Sectoral interventions : wine, fruit and vegetable, and beekeeping sectors.
  • Rural development aid .

Among the measures from the previous period and rural development interventions from the current period, in addition to the calls for grants, the calls for applications for the Centrally Managed Financial Instrument (CMFI) for both the 2023-2027 period and the 2014-2022 period (with calls still open) have also been published in the participating autonomous communities. The CMFI is a financial support mechanism, complementary to subsidies, that aims to promote investments linked to rural areas through easier access to credit.
