Introduction course to Regenerative Agriculture

13 de Octubre de 2025 16:30 // 15 de Octubre de 2025 18:00
Descripción

Regenerative agriculture asserts that soil health is intrinsically linked to the overall sustainability of our food system, from the nutritional quality of plants and animals to the future of our planet. Its goal, therefore, is to regenerate, stimulate, and maintain the soil's fertility and biodiversity: it promotes a soil that supports a wealth of life and organic matter and is capable of producing food using nature's own resources.

It does this by employing agricultural, livestock, and/or forestry techniques that naturally nourish plants and protect the soil from interventions that could affect its own biological processes. This isn't a return to the past; quite the opposite: it's an innovative model that incorporates all the new scientific knowledge we have today about how soil functions and vegetation nutrition.
