The Rural Development Collective of Tierra de Campos has now opened the call for applications for productive projects promoted by companies and self-employed individuals with a business idea to carry out in the "Campos y Torozos" region . The maximum grant is 30% non-refundable.

Expansions, relocations, or modernizations of existing businesses , as well as new projects undertaken by new entrepreneurs in the region, may be financed.

The documents for processing the grants and the call for applications are available on the association's website: http://www.cdrtcampos.com and at the offices located at Calle Mediana, 5 – Bajo A in Medina de Rioseco (Valladolid).

Measure 19, "LEADER," of the 2014-2020 Castile and León Rural Development Program has a budget of €1,107,139.54 through 2018, the first allocation of public funds for the Local Action Group (LAG) "Colectivo Tierra de Campos." Eighty percent of the funds come from the EAFRD (€885,711.63), and the remaining 20% comes from the Castile and León Regional Government and the General State Administration (€221,427.91).

The agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of the Regional Government of Castile and León and the "Colectivo Tierra de Campos" GAL was signed on July 19, and the call for proposals was published in the Valladolid Provincial Bulletin on August 9.

All developers willing to launch a business idea in the Campos y Torozos region will be eligible to apply for these non-refundable grants, the maximum amount of which is 30% of the investment made.

Javier Paniagua, Managing Director of the Tierra de Campos Collective, reported that several applications are being processed and some have already been submitted. The GAL Manager also announced that informational meetings are planned throughout the region to publicize the assistance the association manages.

Furthermore, the association's assembly positively assessed the work carried out so far. The organization continues to emphasize the importance of these programs for generating employment and settling populations in rural areas.
