10 de March de 2020
05/03/2020. The meeting serves to define the new networking model for the next post-2020 CAP. Objective: To better reach the region.
The National Rural Network collaborated in the organization of the 16th "Meeting of National Rural Networks," held from March 3-5 in Calatayud. The meeting included a workshop on "Facilitation Techniques"—providing attendees with specific tools for their work processes—as well as a visit to several LEADER projects in Aniñón.
The presentations and activities focused on discussing the current status of national rural networks and trying to clarify their new modus operandi with respect to the future CAP Network.
New PAC Networks 2021-2027
In June 2018, the European Commission published its legislative proposals for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) for the period 2021-2027 . Based on these objectives, the new CAP Strategic Plans will be established, which will jointly program the two pillars of the CAP: rural development policy and price and market policy.
In line with this new scenario, new CAP networks are being defined, which will extend networking to these two pillars and replace the current National Rural Networks.
The meeting shed light on this period of transition, considering it a moment of opportunity to create creative and innovative approaches that meet the new needs of the territory.
Hence, the meeting's methodology was eminently practical. Thus, through the "Facilitation Techniques Workshop," attendees were provided with working tools that define the new paradigm of PAC Networks :
- The new CAP networks must include all stakeholders
- Future networks must work together because the exchange of experiences is more necessary than ever.
- Keyword : Synergy between networks and their beneficiaries.
As examples of territorial revitalization, several LEADER projects of the ADRI Calatayud - Aranda Local Action Group were visited: the Niño Jesús Cooperative , the Lifara Rural Complex and the cooperation project “Mudéjar Territory - Circular from the rural school”.
