The event will take place from September 22 to 24 in Kuartango (Álava) and will feature figures such as Jordi Évole and Rozalén, as well as speakers from entrepreneurs, innovation experts, primary sector professionals, and associations to address the demographic challenge.

  • The event is divided into three thematic days with roundtable discussions, inspiring talks, workshops, concerts, theater, a craft fair, and many other activities.
  • The event takes place between September 22 and 24 in the Kuartango valley of Álava.

From September 22nd to 24th, and for the second consecutive year, the Alava town of Zuhatzu Kuartango will once again host the " La Gran Kedada Rural " event : three thematic days highlighting the talent, culture, and traditions of the rural world, with social innovation as the unifying theme of the entire program. There will be roundtable discussions on the most pressing topics, presentations of successful projects , inspiring talks and workshops, as well as major concerts, theater, a craft fair , and activities in contact with nature.

The program's highlight is a live interview with journalist Jordi Évole and an acoustic performance by Rozalén , a leading exponent of the new singer-songwriter genre, social activist, and defender of the rural world. Beyond the popular names, however, the event will bring together top-level speakers from all over the world: entrepreneurs and businesspeople, innovation experts and professionals from the primary sector, and members of associations and foundations to address pressing issues, present best practices, showcase inspiring projects, and create alliances that help address the demographic challenge.

“La Gran Kedada Rural” is much more than a music festival, a conference, or a local fair. In the words of its organizers (the Alava cooperative BIKO through its Rural Citizen and Last Tour initiatives ), “we want it to continue consolidating itself as the epicenter of the new rurality, as a benchmark space for sharing and highlighting the opportunities and strengths of our regions each year.” Furthermore, this year, too, all necessary measures will be taken to promote a carbon-neutral and sustainable event.
