Dinamización rural

Without young people, there is no future. And in the case of rural youth, it is essential to make them see the enormous potential the rural sector has for building a livelihood. But sometimes they don't know where to start and don't even know how to find each other to support each other.

  • The objective is to promote cooperation between the different rural youth organizations at both the regional and national levels.
  • In total, 25 regional meetings will take place between February and March 2022.
  • As a culmination, there will be a large national gathering of all youth associations.
  • A competition will be held for projects carried out by rural youth organizations, and the winners will have the opportunity to present them at the national event.

For this reason, the National Rural Network (RRN) aims to promote youth associations at both the national and regional levels through in-person events throughout Spain, organized by its Regional Antennas team. There will be a total of 25 regional meetings in each of the 17 communities, plus a large gathering of rural youth nationwide . This will enable the various organizations and young people to identify interesting contacts in other regions and foster mutual learning.

To generate the greatest possible visibility for rural youth, the National Rural Network is supporting this series of workshops with two other initiatives:

  • Simultaneously with the conference, a competition will be held for projects managed by rural youth organizations, from which the winners will have the opportunity to present their projects at the national event.
  • Additionally, an audiovisual campaign will be launched through the RRN's social media channels to raise awareness about youth organizations in rural areas and the role they play in promoting them.

Calendar of the conferences

The conferences will begin on February 1st in Galicia and Castilla-La Mancha and will conclude on March 19th in Seville. The national event, which will close the conference, is still pending. Two provincial meetings will be held in some autonomous communities. For the detailed program for each meeting (participating associations, schedules, venue, etc.), please consult the calendar on the RRN website.

Likewise, through the RRN website and social media ( Twitter , Instagram and Facebook ), we will be providing regular updates on both the project competition and the audiovisual campaign to promote them.
