Last Friday, the Regional Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries, Francisco Jódar, presented the new website for the Rural Development Program of the Region of Murcia . This website combines the information from the previous website with a new look and updated content.

The new website, adapted to mobile devices, has been designed, according to Jódar, "to make it easier for users to search and locate any information or content related to the Program, through simpler and more intuitive navigation than that offered by the previous website." To this end, the new portal features a top menu structured into seven sections covering the RDP 14-20 , Program measures, LEADER 14-20 , RDP monitoring and evaluation, news, links, and documents of interest.

The new portal's home page features a functional design, providing direct access to the Program's various measures, as well as a summary of the latest news related to rural development and a list of upcoming events, marked on the calendar. The intention, according to Jódar, is "that at a glance, the user can find what they're looking for and discover other sections that may be useful."

From the various sections of the website, citizens can consult everything related to the aid included in the various Program measures, the regulations governing them, their managers, and the operation selection criteria. Users can also download the various versions of the RDP 14-20 or any related documents, such as the Information and Communication Strategy or the expanded SWOT Analysis, in PDF format. All documentation regarding the Program's monitoring and evaluation is also available.

The new portal also offers, within the LEADER section, all the information regarding Participatory Local Development in the Region of Murcia , framed within Measure 19 of the Program. The website includes a map of the scope of application of these grants as well as a description of the regional Local Action Groups , with direct links to their websites, their respective Strategies and the Collaboration Agreements signed with the Autonomous Community.

The new website also facilitates access to various pages of interest and provides the most relevant news on rural development at the regional, national, and European levels. The website will be kept up-to-date with weekly updates on documents associated with the Program, news of interest, announcements of conferences, events, or courses, or examples of good practices. Content for the website update may be proposed by both the Managing Authority, in its role as coordinator, and by the various management units.

PDR Region of Murcia 14-20

The 2014-2020 Rural Development Programme for the Region of Murcia is co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) , the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Environment, and the Regional Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. Approved by the European Commission on 3 July 2015 through a Commission Implementing Decision, the Programme has a total public expenditure budget of €348,102,761.90, of which the maximum contribution from the European EAFRD Fund is €219,304,740.

The time period for the execution of the actions included in the PDR is from January 1, 2014, to December 31, 2023.
