The European Commission is launching a new call for experts, including farmers, foresters, advisors, scientists, and other relevant stakeholders, for three new EIP-AGRI Focus Groups.

The three new focus groups will begin work in October 2017 and are expected to present their findings and recommendations within 12 months to prioritize innovative solutions in the following areas:
• Farm management to promote and ensure sustainable carbon storage in agriculture that contributes to climate change mitigation .
• Circular horticulture.
• Increased production and use of renewable energy on the farm.
The dates of the first meetings for each of the focus groups are indicated in the call for proposals. Selected experts must be available to travel to the group meeting on the indicated dates. Focus group participants will also be asked to do some preparatory work before and between the first and second meetings.
