The session provided an analysis of the measure with practical examples from autonomous communities and the European vision.

The conference on " Agri-environmental measures in Spanish rural development programmes 2014-2020 " brought together nearly 70 participants on 15 March in Madrid, including management authorities and managers of Rural Development Programme (RDP) measures, heads of paying agencies, and members of the National Rural Network (NRN).
The workshop began with a representative from the Ministry's Subdirectorate General for Programming and Coordination, who analyzed the agri-environment and climate measures in the Spanish RDPs 2014-2020 and presented the main results of this measure during the 2007-2013 programming period.
Representatives of the European Commission analyzed the agri-environment and climate measures in the EU RDPs and the agri-environment operations in the Spanish programs .
Representatives from the management units of four autonomous communities and the Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEGA) participated with practical examples . These included the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of the Generalitat of Catalonia with the project " The Global Operating Contract "; the Department of Rural Development and Sustainability of the Government of Aragon with the presentation " The Cultivation of Sainfoin and the Conservation of Biodiversity "; the representative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of the Regional Government of Castilla y León presented the operation " Pasture Sustainability "; and the representative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development of the Regional Government of Andalusia presented the " Olive Grove Thematic Subprogramme ." On behalf of FEGA, the presentation focused on the coordination of controls in measures of the Integrated Management and Control System (SIGC), which includes agro-environmental operations.
The afternoon session consisted of a discussion between attendees and the morning speakers, where they could address questions and issues related to the previous presentations on agri-environmental measures.
