The Operational Groups are part of the European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability (EIP-agri), a tool to promote and accelerate innovation in rural areas through specific innovative projects. The groups are formed by various stakeholders to adapt scientific offerings to sectoral demands and promote the resolution of specific problems or the exploitation of opportunities that contribute to increasing competitiveness and improving living conditions in rural areas.
The creation of groups and the development of projects are supported in the various territories in accordance with the provisions of the respective rural development programs. Thus, in Spain, various autonomous communities have approved aid for the establishment of these operational groups and for the development of their projects, as reported by the National Rural Network (RRN) in the aid section .
The results of the projects developed by the operational groups should be disseminated, especially through the AEI Agri network , as some of them are already doing. In this regard, it has been considered that the National Rural Network can also serve as a means of disseminating these groups and their projects. Therefore, the most relevant information on the AEI Agri operational groups in the various autonomous communities, provided by the RDP managers, can be found by accessing the section dedicated to operational groups .
Also, to promote the dissemination of information related to the AEI Agri, the RRN has participated in the translation of the information brochure and other materials that you can consult in that same section.
