Descripción
StartBEC is a program by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) and the Spanish Agency for Agricultural Innovation (AINIA) to foster technological development and boost the emerging ecosystem in the bioeconomy. Through a collaboration agreement, its objective is to promote innovative value chains linked to the agri-food sector, support entrepreneurship, and invest in talent.
The event will be opened by Isabel Bombal, Director General of Rural Development, Innovation and Agri-food Training, who will also participate in a round table focused on “ Future Opportunities in Agri-food Bioeconomy for companies, startups and entrepreneurs ”.
Addressed to:
• Companies in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical or cosmetics sectors
• Companies involved in bioeconomy activities: new sources of biomass and biofuels, upcycling, biomaterials, solutions to food waste, biofertilizers and biopesticides, etc.
• Investment entities and private investors interested in the topic of the day
