The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food will present the supra-regional advisory grants for the digital transition within the framework of the Rural Development Information Meetings: supra-regional interventions for the exchange of knowledge, information, training, and advice on digitalization for the agri-food and forestry sectors.

These grants are part of the rural development measures of the Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plan (CASP) 2023-2027 and have a budget of €22.7 million, of which €12 million will be allocated to the 2024 call. Both interventions are 43% co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and 57% by funds from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.

Their main objective is to fund educational events, networking spaces and demonstration activities, and digitalization courses for professionals and advisors. These activities aim to provide free advice to SMEs, self-employed individuals, and agri-food cooperatives.
