The Leader Cooperation Working Group was established within the NRN at the initiative of the NRN Management Unit (SG for Rural Environment Dynamization) to address the specific task that the EAFRD Regulation attributes to the NRNs of "providing technical assistance for interterritorial and transnational cooperation, facilitating cooperation between LAGs and searching for partners for the cooperation measure."
Since LEADER cooperation is planned in each of the 17 RDPs, there are different approaches, budgets, and procedures, which makes it difficult to implement cooperation projects between local action groups (LAGs) from different Autonomous Communities (interregional). The same applies to projects between LAGs from different countries (transnational projects).
Previous meetings focused on the procedure for inter-territorial cooperation, and this fifth meeting aims to address the topic of transnational cooperation between GALs.
