The Innovative Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Booster Program aims to fund initiatives and events supporting entrepreneurs and, primarily, startups, in order to promote their activities, both nationally and internationally.

Who is it addressed to?

These grants are aimed at public or private entities (local development agencies, business confederations, event planning companies, operators, consortia, associations and/or startup groups, etc.) that intend to organize innovative entrepreneurship events such as exhibitions, fairs, conferences, or other types of events related to the activities promoted in this call.

Eighty percent of the audiences at these events will be startups, entrepreneurs, individuals considering starting a business venture, investors, or other stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem (associations, government agencies, financial institutions, and other stakeholders involved in driving the entrepreneurial ecosystem).

What should you know about this program?

• These grants will be awarded through competitive bidding and are considered de minimis grants , with the subsidy amount being able to reach a maximum of €100,000.
• You may submit a maximum of two grant applications .
• You can subcontract up to 75% of the total grant amount.
• Eligible costs are the main direct expenses of organizing an event, but you should analyze what they are and what limits they have within the framework of this call for proposals.
• To obtain these grants, the applicant entity must have at least two years of experience in organizing events or in supporting, assisting, or helping startups, entrepreneurs, or people who are considering starting an entrepreneurial project, or in boosting the business ecosystem.
• Beneficiary entities must have their tax domicile in Spain .
• When advertising and promoting activities, it must be stated that they are financed with funds from the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, which have been incorporated into the EOI Foundation's budget.

The main objective of these innovative entrepreneurship events is to create the right environment for both entrepreneurs and startups to connect with distributors, investors, and potential clients; network, learn, study the competition, and gain access to other leading organizations within the sector.
