Within the framework of the grant from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for carrying out activities of special interest to promote the role of women in rural development, the Association of Women of Agri-food Cooperatives of Spain (AMCAE) will implement a program of actions in which social, economic and technological innovation will take center stage.
The event aims to bring artificial intelligence and digitalization to the rural and cooperative sectors, helping to reduce the digital divide and strengthen women's leadership and active participation in their cooperatives' decision-making bodies. In a context of accelerated digital transformation, the goal is to offer a clear, practical, and accessible overview of these tools, fostering women's digital autonomy and reinforcing their role in spaces such as the governing board. Furthermore, the event seeks to highlight and promote female leadership, raise awareness of the opportunities offered by the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) to promote equality and entrepreneurship, and create a participatory space for learning, exchanging experiences, and building support networks among women in cooperatives.
Date of completion: April 14, 2026
Schedule: From 09:30 to 14:45.
Place: Auditorium of the ACOR Oil and Oilseed Treatment Plant (N 601, Km.154, Olmedo, Valladolid)
