This project, in its fourth edition, is being presented to the media today at the Hélade school in Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) and is scheduled to visit a total of 10 schools in the Community of Madrid .

"Understanding Agriculture and Livestock" tours schools, explaining how, where, and by whom the food we find on our tables is produced. It's essential for today's and tomorrow's consumers to understand the history of food and begin to appreciate the importance of the agri-food sector . This project aims to bring the rural environment closer to large cities, while highlighting the important role played by agricultural and livestock professionals .

More than 1,000 students will participate in the project's three participatory activities: "The Great Game of the Farmer's Goose," an adaptation of the popular game where students travel through squares set in the countryside; the memory game "A Year in the Life of a Farmer," which consists of matching pairs based on the different tasks performed by agricultural professionals; and the third proposal, the food game "From Field to Table," to learn about the foods in the Mediterranean diet and their connection to the countryside .

This initiative is supported by Editorial Agrícola in collaboration with sponsoring companies Fendt and the Business Association for Plant Protection (AEPLA) .
