The selection of topics to be addressed in the new focus groups will take into account the support received by previously submitted proposals and any new proposals submitted within the established deadline.

The proposals received so far for the creation of new focus groups have focused on the following subjects:

• Production costs, mixed agriculture and livestock systems, ICT, short marketing channels, agroecological models, sustainable agricultural practices, etc.
• Integrated Pest Control
• Development of machinery and technology adapted to high natural value systems
• Organic production
• Viticultural
• Valorization of waste from the agri-food and forestry sector (PROVALUE)
• Plant Health
• Irrigation
• Energy costs in agricultural and livestock farms
• Production costs and sustainability of livestock farms: innovation in animal feed, sustainable management and utilization of by-products, waste, and animal feed waste, etc.
• Mixed agriculture and livestock systems
• Information and communication technologies in the agricultural sector
• Short marketing channels
• Innovation to meet consumer needs
• Marketing of large state productions
• Production and marketing of organic products
• Agroecological models
• Sustainable agricultural practices
• Plant genetic resources
• Gender equality in rural areas
• Incorporation of young people
• Agricultural waste
• Inputs for agricultural production (phytosanitary products and seeds)
• BIG DATA

Once the topics to be addressed by the new focus groups have been selected, their composition and the units responsible for their coordination will be announced on this website and on the IDi-A portal .

If you consider it necessary to further study certain subjects relevant to the agricultural and forestry sectors in order to find and prioritize practical and innovative solutions to current problems in these sectors, you can express your support for one of the proposals already presented or submit your proposal for the creation of a national AEI Agri focus group with these objectives, through the email redrural@magrama.es
