At the workshop, those responsible for management shared the challenges they face in managing the measure and the solutions implemented to address them. The meeting served as a forum for peers to discuss any questions or concerns that may arise regarding specific aspects.
Following the presentation of the experience gained in this area by the team in charge of this measure at the PNDR and the RDP of Catalonia , the workshop was divided into working groups in which attendees analyzed and shared their main ideas on various topics with the entire audience. Specifically, the first dynamic addressed the general scope of the controls and, specifically, the problems associated with on-site controls . The control of dissemination activities and issues related to personnel costs required special attention. In addition, attendees presented possible proposals for addressing situations in which the composition of the GO or the projects they develop undergo changes throughout their development.
The second round of work focused on issues related to the implementation of cost restraint and the control of double financing. The managers also examined the possibilities of using simplified costing methods within the framework of this RDP measure.
The third and final block addressed another set of issues, such as the use of e-government and topics related to state aid.
The workshop organized by the National Rural Network was a fruitful exchange of experiences among Measure 16 management units, who expressed the relevance of repeating this type of joint work meeting.
