The RRN has chosen PRESURA 2022 to showcase the selected projects so that their creators can present them publicly, talk about them, and allow attendees to get to know the young people in a real, tangible, and authentic way.

  • The "Juventud enREDada" initiative of the National Rural Network (RRN) aims to give visibility to youth associations in order to motivate youth associations in projects that impact rural areas.
  • The (RRN) has selected several youth association projects for their own protagonists to present during the 6th edition of Presura 2022

Gaudeamus igitur iuvenes dum sumus ” ( Let us rejoice while we are still young ). For the past two years, the National Rural Network (RRN) has focused its action plan on promoting and highlighting the fundamental role that rural youth play in the future of rural areas. To this end, the “Youth and Rural Environment” Thematic Group was created in 2021. , made up of 39 rural experts with diverse backgrounds (academic, institutional, scientific, associative, rural residents, etc.) and with broad representation from across the country. The objective was to define proposals and ideas that the RRN could implement to help meet the needs of young people living or wishing to begin a new life project in rural areas.

As a culmination of these last years dedicated to understanding the expectations of rural youth and meeting their demands, the RRN has decided to identify and publicize all rural youth entities and projects through the "Juventud enREDada" call, the main objective of which is to raise awareness of youth initiatives and associations carried out in rural areas in order to motivate youth associations and participation in projects that have a positive impact on rural communities.

“EnREDada Youth” at Presura 2022

The VI National Fair for the Repopulation of Rural Spain (PRESURA 2022) was the space chosen by the RRN to showcase the selected projects so that their creators can present them publicly and talk about them. The goal is for us to get to know young people in a real, tangible, and authentic way, so that society appreciates that these kids exist, are here, do all these things, and for real. They are also given a platform to communicate their own projects however they want to express themselves. Furthermore, we believe their projects can serve as an example and inspiration for other young people or even rural sectors and organizations that want to implement them in their own territories.

Thus, the selected projects have been:

The proposals submitted to the RRN by young people have covered music, photography, dance, leisure, the environment, audiovisual media, theater, visual arts, traditions, sports, social participation, and more.

Through several compilation videos , the RRN has compiled all the projects received. These projects—in addition to being exhibited during Presura—have also been disseminated through the RRN's social media channels to reach the widest possible audience.
