“INCORPORATION OF WOMEN INTO THE CHEESE SECTOR”
AMFAR.- The Federation of Women and Families in Rural Areas, with funding from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food , is developing the RURAL WOMEN Program, protagonists of Rural Development, which is part of the line of subsidies to rural women's entities at the national level called by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for the 2025-2026 period, approved by Royal Decree 921/2024, of September 17.
The program's fundamental objective is to carry out training activities to promote the role of women in rural development, as well as to encourage their participation in the economic and social development of the territories where they live and to improve their working and living conditions.
Rural women play a fundamental role in the structuring of the territory and the fight against depopulation that affects a large part of rural areas.
Within this program, AMFAR has organized the conference “INCORPORATION OF WOMEN INTO THE CHEESE SECTOR” which will take place next Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at the facilities of Quesos Cabesota in Bolaños de Calatrava (Ciudad Real).
With this event, AMFAR is committed to the inclusion of women in entrepreneurship, as an essential part of rural development, showcasing success stories and providing ideas for future inclusions.
