“FEMALE ENTREPRENEURSHIP: INCORPORATION OF WOMEN INTO THE AGRI-FOOD SECTOR”

AMFAR.- The Federation of Women and Families in Rural Areas, with funding from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food , is developing the RURAL WOMEN Program, protagonists of Rural Development, which is part of the line of subsidies to rural women's entities at the national level called by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for the 2025-2026 period, approved by Royal Decree 921/2024, of September 17.

This program aims to promote training activities that strengthen women's leadership in rural areas, encouraging their active participation in the economic and social development of their territories, as well as improving their working and living conditions.

Rural women are an essential pillar in shaping the territory and in the fight against depopulation. Their entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership skills are fundamental to ensuring a vibrant, competitive, and sustainable rural environment.
