Within the framework of the grant from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for carrying out activities of special interest to promote the role of women in rural development, the Association of Women of Agri-food Cooperatives of Spain (AMCAE) will implement a program of actions in which social, economic and technological innovation will take center stage.
The event aims to share the progress made in promoting the role of rural women, reflect on the impact of the Common Agricultural Policy on rural development and equal opportunities, and highlight the role of organizations and cooperatives in generating projects and spaces for female leadership. It also seeks to strengthen collaboration with academia to identify barriers and propose improvements, consolidating the rural women's association movement as a key agent for territorial cohesion and the building of more sustainable communities.
