Within the framework of the grant from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for carrying out activities of special interest to promote the role of women in rural development, the Association of Women of Agri-food Cooperatives of Spain (AMCAE) will implement a program of actions in which social, economic and technological innovation will take center stage.
This workshop addresses the need to strengthen the personal and professional skills of women in cooperatives to encourage their participation in decision-making, coordination, and representation within their cooperatives. In this context, and with the guidance of a psychologist and coach, participants will work on aspects such as self-esteem, confidence, assertive communication, and emotional management—key tools for leading teams, addressing conflicts, and actively participating in areas where women have traditionally been underrepresented. The workshop also aims to contribute to the development of skills related to decision-making, negotiation, and collaborative work, promoting greater involvement of women in the management and growth of agri-food cooperatives and reinforcing the value of female leadership as a path toward true equality.
