Within the framework of the grant from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for carrying out activities of special interest to promote the role of women in rural development, the Association of Women of Agri-food Cooperatives of Spain (AMCAE) will implement a program of actions in which social, economic and technological innovation will take center stage.
This workshop aims to introduce women in rural and cooperative sectors to new technologies applied to agriculture, in a context where increasing farm productivity is a priority. Specifically, it seeks to showcase the potential of tools such as drones, whose high precision allows for optimized tasks through geolocation, image capture, and terrain analysis, as well as provide basic knowledge on their operation and use. This aligns with AMCAE's commitment to facilitating women's access to technological resources that promote their personal and professional development in an increasingly digital world.
